Alexa Pavan
Alexa Pavan is an imperfect sustainability advocate, eco content creator, and copywriter for sustainable businesses and environmental organizations. She has been scuba diving for over 20 years and grew up in a family of composters thanks to her immigrant parents. Alexa is passionate about composting and ocean conservation, and their inextricable link, as she says “everything is connected”. She uses creativity, civic engagement, and fun in an effort to educate her audience on the issues impacting the environment, and thus, human health. While keeping it light, she leverages social media to shed light on issues society is facing on an environmental, political, and socioeconomic level, providing tips without any climate or environmental jargon. Her background is in Biomedical Science and Public Health, but nowadays she uses her knowledge to make climate and environment more palatable for the everyday American, while showing it can be pretty fun too.
